These terms of sale cover buying from Golden Crust Bakery online: how an order becomes a contract, live PKR prices including tax, custom-cake notice of 48 hours and wedding cakes of 7 days, payment by cash or bank transfer, cancellation and our freshness promise. This is a demo store; orders are not fulfilled.

Demo store notice

Golden Crust is a demonstration store powered by SmartPOS Hub. Orders placed on this website are not fulfilled, no goods are supplied and no payment is collected. These terms show how a real bakery's terms of sale would work and apply as if the store were live.

Who you are buying from

You buy from Golden Crust Bakery (demo business), 45-B Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore. Orders are prepared at our Central Bakehouse, Plot 17 Industrial Estate, Kot Lakhpat, and handed over from our Gulberg, DHA Phase 5 or Johar Town branch. Phone +92 42 3575 1100.

How is an order placed and accepted?

  1. You add items to your bag, choose pickup or delivery, a branch or address and a time.
  2. You review the order summary, including the total, any delivery fee and payment method.
  3. You submit the order. This is your offer to buy.
  4. We show an order number and confirm it in your account. The contract is formed when the order is confirmed, or for custom and wedding cakes, when the design is confirmed with you.
  5. We may decline an order — for example if an item is no longer available, the slot is full or the details look fraudulent. If we decline after you have paid by bank transfer, we refund you in full.

Prices and tax

  • All prices are in Pakistani rupees (PKR) and include applicable tax.
  • Prices come live from our till system — the same prices as at our branch counters. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
  • Delivery fees, any minimum order and any free-delivery threshold are shown at checkout before you confirm.
  • If a price is clearly wrong because of an obvious error, we will contact you before preparing the order and you may cancel at no cost.

Products

  • Photos show a typical bake. Handmade cakes and pastries vary slightly in shape, colour and decoration.
  • Cake sizes are by weight: 1 lb, 2 lb and 4 lb where offered. Our custom cakes page explains typical servings.
  • Ingredients and allergens are listed on each product page and on our allergen information page. Our kitchen handles wheat, eggs, milk, tree nuts (almonds), soy and sesame, so cross-contact is possible.
  • Packaged items from Five Rivers Dairies, Valley Orchard, Sunfield Farms and Canal Beverages are sold as supplied; the pack label is the authoritative source of ingredients and dates.
  • Hot drinks are sold at branches only and cannot be ordered for delivery.

You are responsible for the wording and spelling of cake messages and for having the right to use any photo you upload for a print. We may refuse designs that are offensive or infringe someone else's rights.

Payment

We accept:

  • Cash on delivery for delivery orders.
  • Pay at pickup at the branch counter.
  • Bank transfer to the account shown at checkout (a demo account on this website). Please use your order number as the payment reference. Custom and wedding cakes may require transfer in advance before baking begins.

We do not accept card details on this website.

Pickup and delivery

Pickup is in 30-minute slots at Gulberg, DHA Phase 5 or Johar Town. Same-day pickup orders close at 6:00 PM and the earliest slot is about 90 minutes after ordering. Delivery is inside Lahore only. Risk in the goods passes to you at handover. Full details are in our delivery and pickup policy.

Because food is perishable and made to order, the cooling-off rights that apply to non-perishable goods do not apply once preparation has started.

Freshness promise and refunds

If anything is stale, damaged, wrong or not as ordered, report it within 24 hours (the same day for fresh-cream cakes) with a photo, and we will replace it or refund it. See refunds and freshness promise.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying goods as described and of satisfactory quality. We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control — such as severe weather, road closures, power or gas outages — though we will tell you quickly and offer a new time or a refund. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Pakistani law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Lahore have jurisdiction. Your rights under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005 are not affected. Food labelling follows Punjab Food Authority requirements.
