Croissants, puffs and Danish
Our croissants and puffs in Lahore are laminated and baked each morning at the Central Bakehouse: butter croissants, chocolate croissants, apple Danish, chicken puffs and vegetable puffs. They are best on the day, warm from the counter or refreshed in a hot oven at home. Order before 6:00 PM for same-day pickup while stock lasts.

Flaky, buttery and best on the day
Our pastries are laminated by hand at the Central Bakehouse — dough folded around butter again and again until it bakes into hundreds of crisp layers. They are made for eating the same day, which is why the morning is the best time to order.
The butter croissant is the plain classic: crisp outside, soft and honeycombed inside. The chocolate croissant adds two batons of dark chocolate, and the apple Danish is a sweeter, yeasted pastry with cooked apple and cinnamon. On the savoury side, the chicken puff wraps a creamy, lightly spiced chicken filling in puff pastry, and the vegetable puff does the same with potato, peas and carrot — our vegetarian favourite for tea time.
What is the difference between a puff and a patty? Both use puff pastry. Our puffs are lighter, with creamy or vegetable fillings; our patties, in the savoury section, are fuller and filled with spiced chicken or beef.
Bringing pastry back to life. If you are eating a croissant or puff the next day, skip the microwave — it turns pastry chewy. Five minutes in a medium oven or air fryer restores the crunch. Croissants also freeze well for up to a month; thaw at room temperature, then warm through.
Pastries can be ordered for same-day pickup before 6:00 PM, subject to live stock at your branch. All of them contain wheat, milk and egg, and are made in a kitchen that also handles almonds, soy and sesame — see the allergen table for each item. Pair them with chai or a cappuccino at our Gulberg or DHA Phase 5 café.
