Is Golden Crust a real bakery?
Golden Crust Bakery is a demo business. This website shows how a Lahore bakery can run an online shop, branch pickup, delivery and custom-cake ordering on SmartPOS Hub. The branches, products, prices and policies are realistic and work like a live store, but:
- orders are not prepared, delivered or available for collection;
- no payment is collected — cash on delivery and pay-at-pickup orders are never collected, and the bank transfer details shown at checkout belong to a demo account; please do not send money to them;
- branch addresses and phone numbers are illustrative for the demonstration.
Please do not rely on an order from this website for a birthday, wedding, Eid gathering or any real event.
Product information
Photos
Product photos show a typical example of each bake. Our cakes and pastries are handmade, so shape, colour, decoration and the exact look of a name or photo print can vary. Some lifestyle images on the site are licensed stock photographs, credited where shown, and are never presented as customer photos or as reviews.
Prices and availability
Prices, stock and delivery fees are shown live from the SmartPOS till system. If an obvious pricing error appears, we will not hold either side to it; see our terms of sale.
Servings
Servings for our 1 lb, 2 lb and 4 lb cakes are guides based on typical slice sizes. How many people a cake actually serves depends on how it is cut and how hungry your guests are.
Allergen and dietary information
We list ingredients and main allergens for every product we bake on the product page and on our allergen information page, following Punjab Food Authority labelling expectations. However:
- our kitchen handles wheat (gluten), eggs, milk, tree nuts (almonds), soy and sesame, so any product may contain traces of these;
- recipes and suppliers can change; the label on the box or pack is the most up-to-date source;
- for packaged third-party products (Five Rivers Dairies, Valley Orchard, Sunfield Farms, Canal Beverages) the manufacturer's label is the only authoritative source;
- "vegetarian" and "eggless" flags are based on recipe ingredients, not on certification.
If you have a severe allergy, please speak to a branch before ordering. If someone has an allergic reaction, seek medical help immediately.
Blog and guides
Articles on our blog — such as how much cake to order per guest, how to keep bread fresh in Lahore's weather, or planning an Eid dessert table — are general guidance written by our bake team. They are not professional food-safety, nutritional or medical advice. Storage times are estimates; always use your judgement and discard food that looks, smells or tastes off. Historical notes, for example about the origins of nan khatai, reflect commonly told accounts that are not always fully documented, and we say so where that applies.
No endorsements
Naming a third-party brand we stock does not mean that brand endorses Golden Crust, and links to other websites are provided for convenience only. We are not responsible for content on sites we do not control.
No invented claims
We do not publish awards, founding dates, customer numbers or testimonials that are not real. Ratings and reviews appear only when they come from real submissions through the store; if there are none, nothing is shown.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by Pakistani law, Golden Crust and SmartPOS Hub are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on this demo website, including plans made on the basis of a demo order. Nothing in this disclaimer limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights under the Punjab Consumer Protection Act, 2005. Use of the website is also subject to our terms of use.
